Sweet Water beach (greek: Glyka Nera) is located 75 kilometres south of Chania, on the South coast of Crete and 3-4 kilometres west of Chora Sfakion. It is a pebble beach with very clean and fresh sweet water that gushes from the earth, to which owes its name, and protected from the wind. A canteen provides food, cold drinks and renting umbrellas. Access from Chania is possible by bus and from Sfakia by rented or private cars and motorcycles.
